Foie Gras Back on the Menu Again in California
The Catskill Foie Gras Collective, a consortium of duck farms in Sullivan County, NY and Canada announced today that they will begin selling foie gras to customers in California again after a federal judge ruling on Tuesday that overturned the ban.

And research results concerning the welfare aspects of foie gras farming “do not support criticisms of force-feeding and foie gras production”. As foie gras has become increasing popular in many of New York City’s restaurants, foie gras farming has created jobs that provide benefits, pathways to citizenship, and access to the middle class for many families.
